We exist because drug testing should reflect human biology. Too many promising therapies fail because preclinical models don't predict how drugs behave in people. We are building the tissue models that close this gap.

Our story

Elena invented the technology. Her PhD and post-doc in 3D tissue engineering and iPSC differentiation are the foundation of everything we make. Jane runs the business. Nine years across Janssen, Batavia Biosciences, and Mymetics on upstream process development, GMP, and study design.

Our mission: to give drug developers access to human-relevant tissue models that actually predict clinical outcomes. We combine rigorous science with practical, industry-ready solutions.

Elena Naumovska, PhD

CSO & Co-Founder

Inventor of the microtissue technology. PhD and post-doc in 3D tissue engineering and iPSC differentiation. Marie Curie Fellow at Mimetas.

Jane Spirkoski, PhD

CEO & Co-Founder

Nine years in pharmaceutical development, GMP manufacturing, and tech transfer at Janssen (J&J), Batavia Biosciences, and Mymetics.

Heena Uijttenboogaard

Commercial Director

Eight years across life sciences sales and business development, most recently at NestEgg Labs. Owns our pharma client pipeline and pricing strategy.

Raissa Davis

Head of Project Management

Ten years in upstream process development and tech transfer across Batavia Biosciences, Charles River, Janssen (AAV vectors), and Crucell. Owns milestone tracking, reporting, and the bi-weekly sprint cadence across R&D, clients, and grants.

Radmila Blazevska

HR Manager

HR specialist based in Skopje. Recruitment, contracts, and people operations for the Leiden team.

Vesna Kokondoska

Business Developer

PhD in Biosciences from UL Ljubljana. Prior stem cell research on stem cell differentiation and 3D modeling of gynaecology cancers. Drives partner business development through marketing outreach and lead generation.

Esmee Dekker

Lab Tech / Manager

PhD on human beta cells from LUMC's islet group. Leads protocol development, pancreatic differentiation, and proinsulin assays. These are the scientific core of our platform.

Eloisa Vega Quiroz

Lab Tech / Manager

MSc in molecular biology from Radboud, prior immunology research at LUMC and RNA editing at ProQR Therapeutics. Runs production workflows and Ella assays for our functional readouts.
